Analyst, Financial Systems

Overview/Purpose

Reporting to the Solutions Management Team lead, you will have responsibility for the administration of existing EPM applications and supporting the development and enhancement of key new applications/business processes. The role combines both administrative tasks working a large team of users in finance and business operations across multiple markets as well as participation in project work to expand system usage, improve processes and add functional efficiency. Working within a small team of EPM experts (Solutions Management Team) you will have the opportunity to use all components of Oracle EPM Planning, whilst as the same time leveraging your business analyst experience to support and guide an extensive user community. The role provides equal opportunity to build on your career in FP&A and develop a solid technology-based capability, through full usage and participation in the development of leading planning and analytical software.

Primary Responsibilities

· Administrate full suite of enterprise EPM applications including Planning, Financial Reporting, Smart View and Data Management

· Support global markets with technical EPM related questions, issues and training

· Run batch processes for data loads

· Monitor and troubleshoot metadata and mapping changes of ERP data to EPM

· Assist markets with data validation and reconciliation

· Work with market finance teams to analyze and reconcile EPM reports to source ERP data

· Maintain and run calculation scripts and business rules

· Validate calculation results through reconciliation

· Support finance users with financial report modifications and new reporting requirements

· Create or modify user report books

· Maintain user security – functionality and data security

· Continuously monitor system performance

· Work with other members of the systems group on the maintenance and development of EPM applications/databases to resolve issues.       

· Work with business analysts and the financial teams across markets, identifying new requirements

· Work with Solutions Team building and testing of new systems solutions

· Follow up on Oracle service requests

Desired Skills and Qualifications

· 3-5 years of analytical accounting/finance experience AND/OR financial systems experience on Oracle EPM cloud systems

· Bachelor’s degree

· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with user groups and colleagues

· Ability to work under tight deadlines and with changing priorities

· Superior attention to detail with highly effective organizational and analytical skills

· Ability to adopt a logical/systematic approach to problem solving and resolution

· ACCA Preferred
